We are still in a cost-of-living crisis and there’s a February half-term looming, so many families will be looking for places to eat out as a treat, whilst saving money.

Supermarket Cafe Offers
Asda cafe
This offer is actually available all year round but proves very popular in the school holidays. Under 16-year- olds can enjoy a hot meal for a £1.00 in any of the 205 Asda cafes, without any minimum adult purchase.
Sainsbury’s cafe
You’ll need to spend a little more at Sainsbury’s. There a hot meal for £1.00 on offer for kids but you will need to purchase an adult hot meal for at least £5.40.
Tesco
If you are a Clubcard holder kids, can get a free hot lunch in Tesco Cafes and Tesco Coffee Shops with an adult meal purchase. You can select a Kids’ Pic ‘N’ Mix deal in Tesco Coffee Shops, which includes the choice of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, two snacks and a drink.
Morrisons
Under 16-year-olds eat for free at the café when an adult purchases a meal for more than £5.00. (That doesn’t include anything from “The Sides” or “The Sweet Treats” menus). The deal also includes the kids Pick n Mix meal deal from the fridge.
John Lewis cafe
John Lewis has been known to offer a free kids meal with an adult meal for £10.00. But even this poorest offer of the lot (excluding Marks and Spencer below!) isn’t running during this half term.
Marks and Spencer
Usually Marks and Spencer hold a “Kids Eat Free” promotion in the school holidays. It appears that at this point in time they are not doing so. Shame on them.
Waitrose
Well they never held one, so it’s no surprise that there’s no offer this half term, either!
Other “kids eat free” meal deals
Beefeater
If your kids get you up early, try a Beefeater for breakfast and fill up for the day! Two kids can eat a free breakfast with any adult breakfast bought for £10.99.
Bella Italia
Well this has got to be the best of the lot! 2 – 11 year olds can get three courses and a drink for £1.00, so long as you buy an adult meal. Creating your own pizzas and pastas are also included.
Times are limited though, to 4-6pm duing Sunday – Wednesday. The same age kids can eat for free all day when an adult main is purchased from the “A La Carte” menu on a Thursday.
Dunelm
Kids eat for free with a minimum adult purchase of £4.00 in their cafes. Dates and times may vary from store to store, though, so check yours before heading out.
Where are you eating out?
