Sarah Turner Little Beau Sheep
Yorkshire-based Sarah Turner, 43 is the founder and driving force behind Little Beau Sheep. She is an independent retailer and homes sheep inspired laundry care products handmade with British wool and lanolin, beautifully presented in plastic-free packaging. Sarah is an award-winning entrepreneur, having been recognised by Theo Paphitis in his Small Business Sunday initiative. She has also receivied the prestigious Wool Innovation Prize. Sarah is a proud supporter of the Rare Breed Survival Trust and The Campaign for Wool.
Sarah’s business Little Beau Sheep is also a British Wool Licensee – meaning that they can display the “Shepherd’s Crook” of British Wool so that customers can shop assured that the products contain British Wool. Sarah is passionate about promoting British products and native sheep and last year (2022), became a member of The Worshipful Company of Woolmen – one of the oldest livery companies in the City of London, dating back to 1180. This was due to all the work she does in raising the profile of the magical material that is wool. This was the title of her 2022 TEDx talk. Last month she exercised the right as a Freeman of the City of London to drive sheep over the River Thames.
