About Maddy Alexander-Grout money specialist

Maddy Alexander-Grout is an award winning consumer money specialist, mum of two Ben (7) and Harriet (4) , she helps people with money from people struggling with debt to people who just want to make their money go further. After years of struggling with a spending addiction Maddy tackled her 40k of debt head on became an expert through learning on the job and starting her own money saving app.

Maddy started giving people her money saving tips on TikTok in February 2022 and has since grown to 30k followers and an average of 1 million monthly views.

Sadly Maddy’s business didn’t quite recover from the pandemic, so she decided to embark on a new mission, to launch a money community app called Mad About Money collaborating with other money specialists to bring a relatable content in a one stop shop to support people with their everyday living expenses.

Maddy has rainbow hair, she loves gin and is often found finding bargains in charity shops, not at the same time as drinking gin. (Well that’s what she tells me).

She loves shopping local and supporting small businesses.

She is a massive fan of pop punk music, festivals and gigs which she pays for using her fun fund.
