About Jeremy Stern PromoVeritas founder and CEO

White man short grey hair, black shirt, head and shouldersAfter an influential career as a senior marketer with Kraft, Coca-Cola, BT and Tesco, Jeremy Stern became a successful entrepreneur when he set up PromoVeritas. Positioning itself as the independent promotional verification service, the company seeks to protect brand owners from disasters and reputational damage, and consumers from rip-offs, by ensuring prize promotions of all types (prize draws, competitions and instant wins) follow the requirements of the ASA and the CAP Codes.

PromoVeritas  operates prize promotions for major brands such as Kellogg’s, Cadbury, Amazon, ASOS, Amex, Pepsi, Pringles  and many more.

Prior to setting up PromoVeritas, Jeremy was European Promotions Director at Coca-Cola where he was responsible for the company’s overall promotional strategy in Northern Europe and the coordination of Coca-Cola’s plans for the Euro’s, the Olympics and internet projects such as Coke Auction. Jeremy’s other senior positions have included European Marketing Director for Sega Europe, Head of Affinity Marketing at BT, Marketing Manager at Tesco, and Group Brand Manager at Kraft (where he was responsible for the launch of Kenco coffee).

Jeremy is a former Vice President of the Promotional Marketing Council of Europe and has served as a board member on the CAP Committee of the Advertising Standards Authority (the governing body of the UK advertising industry) and a board member of AIME, the trade Association for the Interactive Media industry. He is currently an advisor to the Department of Education on the introduction of a T Level in Marketing.

Winner of various awards including Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Services Category) in the Great British Business Awards, and in 2022 Winner of Best Business of the Year in the Work Avenue Awards and prior to that Individual of the Year in the IPM COGS Awards

He has been also a judge for various award schemes and is a favoured keynote speaker both in the UK and abroad having headed conferences in places such as France, Estonia, Russia, Norway and Austria.

Outside of work, Jeremy is a former past Vice Chair of the Royal Osteoporosis Society, an active member of the Worshipful Company of Marketors and a mentor to several aspiring marketers. Married with six children, nine grandchildren, his wife is a professional cook and cookery writer and he collects antique keys and anything with a magnet.
